Course Overview
Our 7-hour Driver CPC Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course combines essential first aid training with Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) requirements. This course equips drivers with vital skills to handle emergencies on the road or in the workplace, ensuring they are prepared for a range of incidents. Upon completion, participants will not only meet the mandatory Driver CPC training hours but also receive a recognized first aid certification.

Certification
Participants will receive two certifications upon successful completion:

Emergency First Aid at Work certificate, accredited by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB), valid for 3 years.
Driver CPC training hours, which count towards the required 35 hours of periodic training for professional drivers.

Course Content
During the 7-hour course, participants will cover:

  • Treating wounds and controlling bleeding – effective methods for dealing with cuts, injuries, and shock.
  • Managing unconscious casualties – safe recovery techniques for unconscious individuals.
  • Handling burns, fractures, and common injuries – providing first aid for typical road and workplace accidents.
  • Minor illness treatment – handling situations like choking, asthma, and allergic reactions.

Duration
This course is 7 hours long and typically runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including breaks.

The course can be delivered at your workplace or at our training facility. Group bookings are available, and we offer flexible delivery to fit around your business needs.

Prerequisites
No previous qualifications are required. The course is suitable for all professional drivers needing to maintain CPC compliance.
